Kimi Antonelli holds a commanding lead in the 2026 F1 Drivers’ Championship with 292 points after multiple victories, including wins at the Spanish, Italian, Belgian, and earlier grands prix, backed by Mercedes’ strong performance under the new technical regulations. His consistent podium finishes, strong qualifying pace, and ability to capitalize on race incidents have created a substantial gap over teammates George Russell and rivals such as Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, and Max Verstappen. The market’s heavy pricing on Antonelli reflects this points dominance and recent results that have extended his advantage. Remaining races could still shift outcomes through mechanical issues, crashes, or a late surge by competitors, though the current margin makes such reversals unlikely without major disruptions.
