In the 2026 Eliteserien, Bodø/Glimt lead the table on 41 points from 17 matches while Viking sit just one point behind on 40 from 16, setting up a tight title race that leaves second place wide open. Tromsø’s strong third-place standing and solid goal difference add further competition, as mid-table sides including Brann, Molde, Rosenborg, and Sarpsborg 08 remain within striking distance amid an even points spread. With roughly half the season remaining, recent form fluctuations, home/away splits, and potential fixture congestion continue to compress probabilities across the field. This parity, combined with the league’s typical mid-season volatility and multiple teams posting comparable records, underpins the bunched trader consensus around 44 percent for several contenders.
