Apple has held the iPhone Pro starting price at $999 for multiple generations, balancing rising component costs for advanced displays, chips, and AI features against strong brand positioning and margins. For the iPhone 18 Pro, expected in September 2026, attention centers on supply chain updates regarding potential under-display Face ID, improved camera systems, or next-generation silicon that could pressure pricing upward. Android competitors continue offering comparable flagship specs at similar or lower prices, creating a ceiling on increases. The key near-term catalyst remains Apple’s annual fall launch event, where official pricing and any regional adjustments will be confirmed.
