This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Pete Crow-Armstrong holds the clearest edge in the NL Platinum Glove market due to his continued dominance in advanced defensive metrics through mid-June 2026. The Cubs center fielder leads all National League players in the SABR Defensive Index at 10.7 and tops outfielders in Outs Above Average and Fielding Run Value, extending his Statcast-era edge in range, jump, and five-star catch conversion. Cubs teammates Nico Hoerner and Ian Happ factor in as secondary options given strong infield and outfield contributions on a defensively solid club, while the rest of the field—including Jared Triolo, Gabriel Moreno, and Matt Chapman—trail significantly in comparable run-prevention data and lack the same volume of highlight-reel plays. Trader pricing aligns with this hierarchy of confirmed defensive value rather than speculation on late-season shifts.
