This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Pete Crow-Armstrong holds an overwhelming edge in the NL Platinum Glove market due to his continued elite center-field defense for the Cubs in 2026. He leads qualified outfielders in Outs Above Average and defensive runs saved while routinely converting low-probability catches at rates unmatched in the Statcast era, building on his 2025 Gold Glove campaign. Other listed candidates, including positional Gold Glove standouts like Patrick Bailey and Brice Turang, trail significantly as the award recognizes the league’s single best defender overall rather than position-specific excellence. Recent 2026 metrics and highlight-reel plays have reinforced trader consensus around Crow-Armstrong’s frontrunner status ahead of the final voting.
