The Chicago Bulls' official hiring of Tiago Splitter as head coach has locked in overwhelming trader consensus at 100% implied probability. Splitter, who took over as Portland's interim coach midseason amid front-office turmoil and delivered the Trail Blazers' first playoff appearance in five years, stood out for his player-development emphasis and leadership during in-person interviews. Other finalists, including Ryan Schmidt, Micah Nori, and Wes Unseld Jr., were passed over as the front office prioritized Splitter's recent on-court results and NBA championship pedigree as a player. While an unforeseen contract complication or sudden withdrawal remains theoretically possible before finalization, the team's public announcement and rapid market alignment leave little realistic room for a shift in outcome.
