In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more passing yards in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher completion percentage in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in passing touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The single-game format of NFL Week 1 creates substantial variance in passing touchdown totals, leaving the leader market fragmented with no dominant favorite and implied probabilities clustered in single digits for the top names. Joe Burrow and Jared Goff sit at the front of trader consensus at 9.5% each, reflecting strong supporting casts and favorable early matchups for the Bengals and Lions, while Justin Herbert and Matthew Stafford follow at 8% on the strength of high-volume offenses and recent form. Multiple injury returns—including Patrick Mahomes from ACL surgery, Daniel Jones from Achilles repair, and Bo Nix from ankle issues—add uncertainty to several projected starters, further compressing probabilities across the field. Recent training camp reports and preseason trends underscore how offensive line health, receiver availability, and defensive schemes can swing one-week outputs dramatically, sustaining tight pricing even as the season opens.
