The Eagles enter as the two-time defending NFC East champions with an elite defense expected to anchor their campaign, while the Commanders face significant offensive line injuries including a long-term absence for left tackle Laremy Tunsil that weakens their protection for quarterback Jayden Daniels. Philadelphia’s Week 1 home matchup and Week 8 road game at Northwest Stadium remain closely contested due to the Eagles’ offensive transition under new coordinator Sean Mannion, roster turnover after trading A.J. Brown, and the inherent variance of divisional play. Trader consensus pricing a near-even split between a series tie and an Eagles sweep reflects these roster and scheme uncertainties against Washington’s projected mediocrity and tough early schedule.
