The 2026–27 Süper Lig features 18 clubs after Antalyaspor, Kayserispor, and Fatih Karagümrük dropped to the TFF 1. Lig, replaced by promoted sides Erzurumspor FK (returning after five seasons), Amed SFK, and Çorum FK. Pre-season models and early fixtures position the three newcomers as primary relegation candidates due to limited top-flight infrastructure, squad depth, and experience against established sides. Eyüpspor, Kocaelispor, and several mid-table clubs also feature in forecasts as at-risk amid a crowded bottom half. The first matchweek results already show Erzurumspor conceding heavily, while the standard three-team drop format and 34-match schedule mean early points gaps and fixture difficulty will shape the battle through winter.

If the 2026-27 Süper Lig season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Süper Lig. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
