Trey McBride enters the 2026 NFL season as the consensus top tight end after setting the single-season receptions record with 126 catches in 2025, fueled by Arizona's league-high pass volume and Jacoby Brissett's extended starts following Kyler Murray's injury. New head coach Mike LaFleur has repeatedly highlighted McBride's unique receiving skills in the updated scheme, while Brissett's familiarity with the offense and tendency to target tight ends could sustain volume despite the addition of rookie quarterback Carson Beck and a more balanced attack. Competing targets from Marvin Harrison Jr. and a potentially improved Cardinals defense may temper raw targets from last year's outlier pace, yet McBride's efficiency and red-zone usage position him for another elite reception total among tight ends.
