This market will resolve to the player who is awarded the Silver Ball award for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by FIFA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The early group stage of the 2026 World Cup leaves Silver Ball contention wide open, with traders pricing a tight cluster of established stars and emerging talents near the top. Limited matches played so far mean form, goal contributions, and team advancement remain fluid, preventing any single player from pulling away. Harry Kane leads at 38% implied probability on the back of England’s expected depth, while Lionel Messi (33%) and Lamine Yamal (28%) draw support from Argentina’s and Spain’s strong pre-tournament positioning. Mid-tier names such as Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, and Pedri trade in the 6–12% range, reflecting their potential to post standout numbers if their sides advance deep. The bunched pricing captures broad uncertainty around individual impact in a 48-team field where upsets, rotation, and knockout heroics can still shift consensus quickly.
