Shnaider advanced convincingly, dropping just three games to Leylah Fernandez in the round of 16, showcasing sharp form on her preferred surface. Pegula holds a perfect 2-0 head-to-head edge, including a straight-sets US Open fourth-round win last year, bolstered by 2026 serve improvements yielding higher first-serve points won.
