Ulsan HD trails closely at 10 points (3-1-0, 7:2 GD), showcasing the stingiest backline amid an unbeaten run, while defending champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors sit third on 8 points despite a recent draw-heavy form. Promoted newcomers Bucheon FC 1995 surprise with 6 points and solid organization, contributing to parity; six clubs cluster on 6 points, underscoring the tightly contested early-season table after March's international break, with 33 rounds remaining before the split into top/bottom six groups. Historical powerhouses like Pohang Steelers and Gimcheon Sangmu lurk, amplifying upset potential in a grueling 38-match campaign.
