The 2026-27 Serbian SuperLiga season opened in mid-July with 14 teams in a transitional format ahead of the reduction to 12 clubs next year. Red Star Belgrade, the defending champion, has started strongly and remains the clear title favorite, leaving a tightly contested group chasing second place. Early results show IMT Novi Beograd, Vojvodina, Čukarički, and Partizan among the teams posting solid form and positive goal differences after the opening fixtures. Promoted sides Zemun and Mačva add further variables, while roster stability, home/away splits, and fixture congestion in the coming months could quickly shift momentum. With implied probabilities clustered between roughly 45-50% across a dozen clubs, trader consensus reflects the absence of a dominant second contender at this early stage.
