In the ATP Challenger Santa Cruz de la Sierra on clay, No. 304 Matias Soto holds a clear edge over No. 624 Mariano Kestelboim in their first-round matchup and head-to-head debut, reflecting trader consensus on Soto's superior 2026 form (18-8 record) versus Kestelboim's struggles (1-4). Soto, a 26-year-old Chilean, recently reached the Mexico City Challenger second round, upsetting Jay Clarke before a 0-2 loss to Stefano Napolitano, showcasing baseline consistency ideal for Bolivian clay. Kestelboim, 30-year-old Argentine and doubles specialist (career-high No. 99), exited early in Campinas qualifying last week. No injuries or withdrawals reported; surface favors steady ralliers amid potential high-altitude effects in Santa Cruz.
