Pakistan Women's commanding 168-run victory in the 1st ODI opener on May 4 at Karachi's National Stadium has propelled trader consensus to near-certainty on a series win, with Pakistan now leading 1-0 in this three-match ICC Women's Championship contest against Zimbabwe. Hosting at home, Pakistan capitalized on Zimbabwe's toss decision to field first, posting a mammoth total boosted by Najiha Alvi's record 24-ball fifty, while their bowlers triggered a Zimbabwean batting collapse to 162 all out in 36.4 overs. Superior rankings, recent form, and pitch familiarity cement the implied probability, though Zimbabwe could theoretically force a turnaround by sweeping the May 6 and 9 clashes via exceptional bowling or Pakistan injuries.
