Persela Lamongan hosts Persis Solo in the opening round of the 2026/2027 Pegadaian Championship at Surajaya Stadium, where a sold-out crowd of over 10,600 supporters adds significant home motivation for coach Bima Sakti’s side. Both clubs enter the second-tier campaign after challenging prior seasons—Persis following relegation from the Super League with a leaky defense and Persela building from recent Liga 2 stability—leaving limited established form to separate them. Persis released a full squad featuring experienced additions and local talent, but the away fixture and lack of recent competitive rhythm offset any edge. These evenly matched circumstances, combined with typical early-season uncertainty in Indonesian football, underpin the narrow trader consensus across the three outcomes.
