The 2026-27 Premier League assist race remains tightly bunched because multiple elite creators enter the campaign with comparable profiles after standout 2025/26 performances. Bruno Fernandes leads implied probabilities on the back of his record-setting chance creation and 19-20 intentional assists last season at Manchester United, yet Rayan Cherki, Morgan Rogers, and Martin Ødegaard sit close behind thanks to high per-90 output, set-piece involvement, and roles in fluid attacking systems at their clubs. Factors such as pre-season tactical tweaks, squad depth under new or interim managers, fixture congestion, and injury risks across midfield and wide areas prevent any single player from pulling away early. The wisdom of crowds in the market reflects this parity among consistent chance creators in a league where assist tallies often hinge on team form and service to forwards.
