This market will resolve according to the team that is declared as the AFC West division champion for the 2026 NFL regular season. If multiple teams tie atop the division, this market will resolve according to the official tiebreak procedure of the NFL. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 17, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared for this division within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The AFC West title race remains tightly contested heading into the 2026 season because the Chiefs, Broncos, and Chargers each enter with comparable projected win totals near nine or ten and overlapping strengths in quarterback play and coaching. Patrick Mahomes’ return from a torn ACL creates uncertainty for Kansas City after its disappointing 2025 campaign, while Denver benefits from Bo Nix’s development, an elite defense anchored by Pat Surtain II, and offensive additions that sustained its 2025 division title. The Chargers gain offensive upside under new coordinator Mike McDaniel alongside Justin Herbert but face offensive-line injuries that temper expectations. These factors, combined with a difficult early schedule for several clubs and the absence of a runaway favorite, keep implied probabilities clustered within a few points. The Raiders trail significantly due to roster and organizational rebuilding.
