If the 2026 Uruguayan Primera División season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Uruguayan Primera División. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Relegation in the 2026 Uruguayan Primera División is decided by the lowest points-per-game average across the 2025 and 2026 seasons combined. Progreso sits at the bottom of the relegation table with a 0.953 average after a dismal 2026 campaign that has yielded just 22 points from 27 matches, while Danubio (1.047) and Cerro (1.156) also occupy vulnerable positions due to weak recent form and prior-season results. Newly promoted sides like Albion and Central Español face adjustment challenges but sit higher in the averages, and Deportivo Maldonado has posted strong 2026 numbers that bolster its standing. With the Clausura phase underway and the annual table still fluid, late-season results for struggling clubs will determine which three teams drop to the Segunda División.
