Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" holds an 84.5% implied probability in the VMA Best Country market due to its record-shattering commercial run, including over 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominant country chart performance that has outpaced all competitors. This momentum, paired with strong critical and industry support across awards circuits, has established it as the clear frontrunner ahead of the September 27 ceremony. The remaining nominees, including Lainey Wilson's "Somewhere Over Laredo" and tracks from Kacey Musgraves, Luke Combs, Shaboozey, Stella Lefty, and Tucker Wetmore, sit at far lower odds reflecting their more modest chart trajectories and lack of comparable crossover impact. With the VMAs just days away, final voter sentiment appears heavily weighted toward Langley's breakout single.
