BTS’s “Swim” leads Song of the Year trader sentiment at 61% implied probability after earning a nomination alongside seven other tracks when the 2026 VMAs shortlist dropped in mid-August. The track’s frontrunner status stems from BTS’s historically dominant ARMY voting bloc, recent Best Group nod in the social categories, and sustained global streaming momentum from the Arirang album cycle. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” sits at 19% on the strength of its record-setting Billboard Hot 100 run and country radio dominance, while the remaining nominees—including PinkPantheress & Zara Larsson’s “Stateside,” Raye’s “Where Is My Husband!,” Huntrix’s “Golden,” Madonna & Sabrina Carpenter’s “Bring Your Love,” and Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need”—cluster lower as fan-voting dynamics and pop/K-pop crossover appeal favor BTS. The category resolves via public vote ahead of the September 27 ceremony in Los Angeles.
