This market will resolve to “Yes” if the Chicago Bears franchise of the NFL officially announce a plan to move and play their home games permanently anywhere outside of the state of Illinois by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. For the purpose of this market, any temporary change in venue will not be considered. For the purpose of this market, no naming changes will be taken into consideration, only official announcements about the home playing field of the Chicago Bears franchise. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Chicago Bears franchise and/or the NFL.The Chicago Bears’ stadium search has centered on Hammond, Indiana sites since their June 2026 board vote and August update declaring it the sole focus after Illinois legislative inaction on tax incentives for Arlington Heights. Due diligence continues on Hammond locations, yet no construction timeline or operational relocation has been set. With the team still under contract at Soldier Field for the 2026 season and any new domed venue requiring years to complete, traders view an actual departure from Illinois—whether headquarters move or home games—by December 31 as improbable.
