Žiga Šeško, the 17-year-old Slovenian junior Australian Open champion ranked around No. 1004, faces 25-year-old Italian Giuseppe La Vela, ranked No. 517, in the M15 Litija semifinal on outdoor clay. La Vela holds the experience edge with a higher ATP ranking and consistent ITF results, while Šeško benefits from local support and strong recent junior-to-pro transition form. The pair has no prior head-to-head meetings, and both advanced through the draw without reported injuries or withdrawals. Clay-court movement and stamina will likely favor the more seasoned La Vela, though Šeško’s home-soil comfort and aggressive baseline game create realistic upset potential in this closely matched ITF encounter.
