Multiple quarterbacks enter the 2026 regular season with comparable profiles for leading in completion percentage, including recent standouts like Drake Maye (72.0% in 2025), Josh Allen, Brock Purdy, Jared Goff, and Sam Darnold. Offensive schemes emphasizing short-to-intermediate throws, clean pockets from strong lines, and play-action elements support high-percentage passing across several teams. Preseason trends and off-season roster tweaks have kept a broad group of passers—veterans and younger signal-callers alike—viable without a clear statistical edge emerging yet. This depth of candidates with proven accuracy and favorable supporting casts drives the bunched trader consensus, as small variations in volume, game script, or injuries could shift the leader.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the tied quarterback with more total pass completions in the 2026 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the tied quarterback whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed quarterback to finish with the highest completion percentage, the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, shortened, or no leader is determined by January 24, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the NFL (https://www.nfl.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
