La Serna, a left-handed Argentine qualifier, arrives off a lopsided 1-6, 1-6 loss to Gustavo Heide in Sao Leopoldo two days ago, potentially signaling fatigue from recent travel and qualifying matches, while Camargo Lima (No. 1075) enters fresher despite qualifier defeats like to Boris Arias in Sao Paulo last week. With no head-to-head history, stylistic matchup uncertainties and crowd support create the even keel; late injury reports or practice form could shift sentiment toward either the higher-seeded grinder or motivated underdog.
