The Orioles sit at roughly 6-6 in the AL East, hampered by mounting injuries including Zach Eflin's season-ending Tommy John surgery, Jackson Holliday's hamate issue, Jordan Westburg's 60-day elbow IL stint, and outfielder Heston Kjerstad's hamstring strain. Guardians also manage absences like SS Gabriel Arias' hamstring and OF George Valera's calf injury, but their pitching staff shows better ERA trends. Key factors include Cleveland's rest advantage post-Braves series, interleague matchup dynamics, and mild April weather favoring play. Trader consensus reflects Guardians' momentum and home-field edge amid Baltimore's roster challenges.
