Orlando Squeeze enters the Amway MLP Orlando matchup as heavy favorites against Phoenix Flames, reflecting their status as event hosts at ESPN Wide World of Sports with superior regular-season positioning and greater playoff motivation. Orlando sits near the top of Group A contention despite recent roster adjustments from trades, while Phoenix, a young squad with minimal points, must win out and receive external help to reach the postseason—scenarios widely viewed as unrealistic. Home-court dynamics, depth advantages, and consistent team performance in prior events further tilt implied probabilities heavily toward the Squeeze, though individual matchups in pickleball doubles formats can produce variance if Phoenix secures early momentum or capitalizes on any Orlando lineup absences.
