Recent meteorological guidance from regional models shows elevated cloud cover and a 50-70% chance of showers or thunderstorms over Taipei on September 11, which suppresses peak solar insolation and favors maximum temperatures near 28-30°C. Northeast monsoon flow and high boundary-layer humidity further limit daytime warming by enhancing evaporative cooling and reducing net radiation. Historical September climatology places the average high near 30-31°C, but the current pattern deviates toward the lower end of that range, consistent with the tight market clustering between 29°C and 30°C. Updated model runs and Central Weather Administration briefings over the next 48 hours will refine the precise maximum and any late-day clearing that could push readings higher.
