Kyle Schwarber holds the MLB home run lead with 23 through early June, positioning him as the market favorite at 48.5% implied probability due to his consistent power output and early-season surge that made him the first player to reach 20 homers. Yordan Alvarez trails closely at 21-22 home runs with a 36.1% share, driven by his elite .316 average, top-tier OPS exceeding 1.000, and strong on-base skills that sustain his pace despite fewer total at-bats. Traders weigh these factors against the remaining schedule, noting Alvarez's higher contact rate and matchup advantages for the Astros while Schwarber benefits from his proven pull-side power in the Phillies lineup. Lower-probability names like Ben Rice and Rafael Devers sit well behind based on current totals and historical trajectories through the first third of the season.
