Avengers: Doomsday leads trader sentiment at 62.5% implied probability due to its record-shattering presales, which reached $50 million domestically by early September—far ahead of prior benchmarks—and a trailer that amassed over 500 million views. This positions the December 18 MCU crossover as the frontrunner for 2026’s biggest opening weekend despite sharing the date with Dune: Part Three, which holds IMAX exclusivity. Spider-Man: Brand New Day sits at 36.5% after its July 31 release delivered a franchise-record $360 million domestic debut and over $2.4 billion globally, yet its window has closed. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping and Dune: Messiah remain longshots at 0.1% each, with the former’s November 20 launch lacking comparable scale and the latter facing direct competition. Doomsday’s December timing and guild-level anticipation provide the key swing factor for traders.

Please note, this market will resolve according to the The Numbers figures provided under Weekly Box Office Performance for the opening week, regardless of whether domestic refers to only the USA, or to USA and Canada, etc.
Resolution will be based specifically on the figures provided for this movie's opening week.
