The market's 81.9% implied probability against Diddy's release from custody in 2026 reflects the protracted federal racketeering and sex trafficking proceedings, where bail has been repeatedly denied over flight risk and witness safety concerns. Ongoing trial developments, including extended evidence presentation and witness examinations, point to a timeline stretching well beyond year-end without a swift plea or acquittal. Traders weigh historical patterns in similar high-profile cases against any momentum from defense motions or new filings, with verdict expectations and potential renewed bail arguments as the main near-term catalysts that could alter consensus.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Sean "Diddy" Combs is released from custody between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
If Sean Combs is released but remains under house arrest, the market will still resolve to "Yes".
If Sean Combs is released on parole, bond, or any other condition that results in them leaving state custody, the market will resolve to "Yes".
