Mercedes leads the 2026 Constructors' Championship with a substantial points advantage after multiple race weekends, driven by superior performance under the new technical regulations, particularly in power unit efficiency and energy management. Drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell have delivered consistent results, building a gap that rivals such as Ferrari and McLaren have yet to close despite their own strong showings. The wisdom of crowds reflected in current pricing aligns with this on-track dominance and Mercedes' proven ability to optimize the hybrid era rules. Potential shifts could arise from mid-season development battles, mechanical reliability concerns, or rapid catch-up by competitors adapting to the regulatory changes.
