Mercedes maintains a commanding 72-point advantage in the 2026 Constructors' Championship standings with 379 points after the Hungarian Grand Prix, ahead of Ferrari on 307, McLaren on 220, and Red Bull Racing on 177. The German squad has secured multiple victories and consistent podium finishes through strong performances from drivers like Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, reflecting superior car pace and reliability across recent rounds. Ferrari remains the nearest challenger with occasional race wins but has been unable to close the gap meaningfully. Lower-placed teams trail by over 150 points, leaving them with minimal realistic paths to the title given the remaining schedule and current form trends reflected in the market's implied probabilities.
