The communal elections scheduled for October 9–10, 2026, feature a fragmented field of candidates for Pardubice mayor, with incumbent Jan Nadrchal (ANO) and Jakub Rychtecký (leading the Žijeme Pardubice coalition) holding the tightest implied probabilities. Recent registration of candidate lists in August has confirmed participation from multiple groupings, including ODS under Ondřej Tichý, STAN with Daniel Vondra, Noví lidovci with Petr Netolický, and SPD-aligned Leoš Janda. Trader consensus reflects the absence of decisive polling shifts or late-breaking events that would favor one side, as local issues around budgeting, transport infrastructure, and urban development remain evenly contested among established parties and alliances. Outcomes hinge on coalition formation after the vote, with lower-probability contenders facing structural barriers from limited name recognition and narrower bases.
