This market will resolve according to the winner of Titled Tuesday on September 29, 2026 11:59 PM ET. If the listed player does not play their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after October 13, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.In Titled Tuesday's 11-round 5+0 Swiss format, a deep field of 400-500+ titled players routinely produces different weekly winners, as evidenced by Alireza Firouzja's outright victory on September 22 ahead of Denis Lazavik and Ian Nepomniachtchi, Sina Movahed's prior success on September 15, and earlier triumphs by Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Hans Niemann, and others throughout 2026. Elite blitz specialists including Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Arjun Erigaisi, Fabiano Caruana, and rising talents like Nodirbek Abdusattorov or Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu bring comparable ratings and recent form, yet the format's high variance, variable participation, and tiebreak sensitivity keep implied probabilities tightly bunched. This crowd-consensus pricing reflects the inherent unpredictability where any top contender can surge or falter in a single session.
