Los Angeles Mad Drops enter the MLP St. Petersburg group-play matchup as slight favorites at 55% implied probability, driven primarily by their dominant 11-1 regular-season record and deeper roster featuring Ben Johns, Catherine Parenteau, Max Freeman, and Jade Kawamoto. Utah Black Diamonds sit at 4-8 after a difficult early schedule, relying on Connor Garnett, young standout Tama Shimabukuro, and Victoria DiMuzio for momentum. Recent head-to-head results favor the Mad Drops, though both squads have shown variability in doubles and mixed formats. The narrow pricing reflects competitive team formats and Utah’s ability to steal points in dream-breaker scenarios, with no reported injuries altering lineups ahead of the June 18 contest.
