This market will resolve to 'Japan' if Japan wins against Ukraine. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one player advances due to the opponent's retirement, default, or disqualification, this market will resolve to the player who advances. If the match ends in a walkover (player withdraws before the start and the other advances automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.Trader consensus prices Ukraine at 50.5% implied probability for this women's singles matchup in the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026 quarterfinal, reflecting a razor-thin edge amid Ukraine's surging momentum from gritty Round of 16 triumphs—3-1 over England on May 4 and 3-2 over USA yesterday, sealed by Veronika Matiunina's 3-2 fifth-rubber clincher. Margaryta Pesotska's flawless 7-0 record (+21/-5) anchors Ukraine's upset bid against Japan's powerhouse depth led by Miwa Harimoto's dominant 7-0 run (+21/-1). The balance stems from Pesotska's topspin resilience countering Japan's aggressive loops, with service variations or fatigue from Ukraine's back-to-back ties potentially tipping odds in the best-of-five team format.
