With multiple tracks clustered near 50% implied probability, trader sentiment reflects a wide-open race for the #2 Spotify song the week of August 28, driven by comparable streaming momentum and release timing. Recent chart trajectories, playlist additions, and artist fan engagement levels keep frontrunners like Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” and Tame Impala’s “Loser” neck-and-neck with established titles such as Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat” and Dominic Fike’s “Babydoll.” Lower odds on newer Ariana Grande cuts and BTS’s “SWIM” highlight the challenge of breaking into the top tier without stronger viral lift or sustained daily streams. The final positioning will hinge on midweek updates and any last-minute promotional pushes before the weekly chart locks.
