Recent Spotify Global Weekly charts show a tight race for the #2 spot behind dominant leader BbY WOW by KAROL G, Judeline, and rusowsky, with Earrings by Malcolm Todd, Loser by Tame Impala, The One That Got Away by Katy Perry, and Beauty and a Beat by Justin Bieber ft. Nicki Minaj clustered within roughly one million streams of each other. Trader sentiment reflects this deadlock, driven by steady catalog momentum for the Bieber and Perry tracks alongside rising traction for newer releases from Malcolm Todd and Tame Impala, whose ongoing tour dates provide additional visibility. Key swing factors for the week ending September 18 include daily stream updates, any late promotional pushes, and potential viral spikes, as historical patterns show midweek shifts can reorder the top five in competitive periods.
