Sakai, 19-year-old Japanese right-hander, powered through groups with a stunning 2-9 to 13-11 comeback in the decider and a gritty 3-2 win over Ruiz on April 9, signaling strong momentum. Li matched intensity via a clinical 3-0 rout of Chen Yuanyu earlier this week, leveraging domestic support in Taiyuan. No head-to-head tilts uncertainty; pre-match warmups or minor tweaks in spin-heavy rallies could tip the scales either way.
