Trader consensus heavily favors Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, Chandler Phillips, and Blades Brown atop the Valspar Championship odds, mirroring a jammed leaderboard after two rounds at Innisbrook's Copperhead Course where the top five sit within one stroke at 8-under or better. Neergaard-Petersen's bogey-free 64 in Round 2 propelled him to the lead, while Phillips and Brown posted matching 66s fueled by hot putters, capitalizing on accurate iron play amid firm greens demanding precision over power. Established stars like Matt Fitzpatrick and Tony Finau lag 6+ strokes back, their struggles in strokes gained approach underscoring the event's history of mid-tier breakthroughs—keeping the race fluid entering moving day with wind gusts forecast to test steady hands and weekend warrior momentum.
