The tight clustering of implied probabilities among PSV Eindhoven, Ajax, and Feyenoord for the 2026-27 Eredivisie runner-up spot stems from the league’s traditional big three entering the campaign with renewed balance after PSV’s dominant 2025-26 title win. Pre-season previews highlight substantial summer squad changes, including high-profile arrivals at Ajax and the appointment of Giovanni van Bronckhorst at Feyenoord, which have narrowed perceived gaps in squad depth and tactical setups. Historical patterns of close finishes among these clubs, combined with the absence of a clear second-place frontrunner, keep trader consensus evenly distributed across the trio while leaving limited room for mid-table sides to challenge the established hierarchy.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Eredivisie for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Eredivisie (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Eredivisie; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
