Four teams of comparable strength—DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Zimbabwe—compete in a double round-robin where the top two advance, producing tight implied probabilities across the field. DR Congo enters with the strongest recent form and FIFA ranking but faces a schedule featuring away fixtures against motivated opponents. Equatorial Guinea brings continental experience and home advantage at key stages, while Zimbabwe and Sierra Leone have shown resilience in prior qualifiers through organized defenses and counter-attacking threats. With no matches yet played in the September window and limited historical head-to-head dominance, traders see realistic paths for any side to collect points, keeping the race bunched and sensitive to early results.
