Borussia Dortmund holds a commanding 8-point lead over third-placed VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga table after 27 matchdays, with 61 points from an 18-7-2 record and a +30 goal difference that provides a crucial buffer. Recent form has solidified this position, including a gritty 3-2 comeback win over Hamburg via late penalties from Serhou Guirassy, extending their unbeaten run outside of Bayern Munich losses since late March. Trailing challengers RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim sit tied on 50 points, while Bayer Leverkusen languishes at 46 despite European exploits. With seven rounds left, trader consensus prices Dortmund at 89% implied probability for second place, reflecting the steep barriers to an overtake; realistic shifts would require multiple Dortmund slip-ups amid tough fixtures, key injuries like to Guirassy or Beier, and perfect runs from pursuers in the Champions League qualification race.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Bundesliga as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Bundesliga. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
