Dayeon Back enters the ITF W35 Changwon hard-court matchup against Su Jeong Jang with recent strong momentum on home soil, having captured multiple titles and reached deep rounds in Korean ITF events throughout May 2026 while compiling an impressive win rate on the surface. The 24-year-old right-hander benefits from superior current ranking proximity to the top 300 and consistent results against comparable opposition, contrasting with the 31-year-old Jang’s more variable form and 9-8 record in 2026 ITF play. Both players share Korean nationality and familiarity with the conditions, though Back’s younger legs and recent doubles success add depth to her preparation. Historical head-to-head data remains limited at this level, leaving recent singles form and physical freshness as the primary drivers reflected in trader pricing near even money.
