The Rockies (around 2-3 record) placed RHP Ryan Feltner day-to-day with a glute contusion April 6, OF Zac Veen on 10-day IL (knee), and multiple arms like RJ Petit (Tommy John) sidelined long-term, exposing bullpen vulnerabilities on the road. Padres (similar sub-.500 mark) miss RP Jason Adam (15-day IL quadriceps, April 6), Yuki Matsui (April 10), and SP Matt Waldron (April 15), but hold a dominant head-to-head edge, winning 24 of 39 recent meetings. Home/away splits and starter matchups will drive implied probabilities in this evenly matched but injury-riddled tilt.
