The tight clustering around 50% in this 2026-27 interceptions thrown leader market reflects broad parity among projected NFL starting quarterbacks, with multiple passers facing comparable passing volumes, defensive schemes, and turnover risks. Projections place several signal-callers in the 12-14 interception range, including regression candidates such as Matthew Stafford after prior positive variance, second-year options like Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart, and volume-oriented starters including Brock Purdy, Trevor Lawrence, Bryce Young, and Sam Darnold. New offensive systems, offensive line stability, and the typical season-to-season fluctuation in interception rates further compress distinctions, leaving the field wide open without a clear frontrunner as the campaign begins.
