Norway and France open the Portugal T20I Tri-Series at Santarem Cricket Ground on April 5, marking their first encounter in a round-robin format with three meetings total, including rematches on April 7 and 9. With no prior series matches played, trader sentiment hinges on recent T20I form: Norway's strong showing in their August 2025 home tri-nation series, including a 32-run win over Hungary via robust batting and bowling, and France's narrow last-ball victory against Sweden in the Viking Cup. The venue's balanced pitch—average first innings 160 across 15 T20s, with teams batting first winning more often—elevates toss importance, alongside pacers' grip early and potential spin assistance later, as both sides adapt to unfamiliar conditions without reported injuries or withdrawals.
