Portugal hosts Norway in the T20I Tri-Series at Santarem Cricket Ground, entering with momentum from five straight T20I wins, bolstered by all-rounder Najam Shahzad's contributions and bowler Suman Ghimire's breakthroughs. Norway counters with four victories in their last five T20Is, led by opener Khizer Ahmed's aggressive batting and strike bowler Ahmadullah Shinwari. Head-to-head records show a tight contest, with Portugal claiming four of seven recent meetings, including two wins in last year's bilateral series. The firm, lively pitch favors pace bowling and high-scoring chases, making the toss crucial; opening matches against France on April 5 could influence early momentum and net run rate standings in this round-robin format.
