Sierra Leone Women, defending champions after their unbeaten run through the 2025 BCA Kalahari Women's T20I Tournament including a final win over hosts Botswana, face Brazil Women in the opening match at Gaborone's Botswana Cricket Association Oval 1. Brazil holds a 1-0 T20I head-to-head edge from an 8-wicket victory over Sierra Leone in last June's Kwibuka Tournament, chasing 86 in a low-scoring thriller, and brings fresher form from September's ICC T20 Tri-Series wins. Recent squad announcements confirm full-strength lineups with no reported injuries, while Brazil's long-haul travel from South America contrasts Sierra Leone's momentum. ICC rankings favor Brazil slightly (35th vs. 41st), but the round-robin format amplifies toss and pitch dynamics for early momentum.
